We came into Sapore Ravioli and Cheese yesterday because me and my girlfriend had a girls night at our friend who is local in Piscataway, and she made us pasta using Sapore's homemade vodka sauce. It was so good, I had to come to the shop myself. Walking into the shop, we were greeted by both the kind man and woman behind the counter, asking for what we needed and how they can assist us -- SUPER family style. My girlfriend grew up in a very Italian family, and she said, "I grew up in an Italian family where we treated everyone like our own, and that is exactly what just happened when I walked in". 6/5 from that customer service on its own. When we got home, we made the vodka sauce and added in our own ground chicken (just to bulk it up a bit :)) and holy crap. When I tell you this was the best vodka pasta I've had, I mean it. We got Sapore's homemade rigatoni, and I truly think this is what brought the dish together. Cooked to a perfect al dente, you can tell this pasta was homemade. We got the seeded bread, which was still soft inside, alongside the fresh mozzarella that they gave us. We topped it some balsamic and basil -- AMAZING. I will absolutely be coming back to Sapore Ravioli and Cheese. Perfect market to go if you're short on time for a Sunday night dinner, with OUT OF THE PARK quality food and service.

Massive meat sandwiches. And raviolis are excellent. $8.00 a dozen. Can't beat that Go with the chicken parm with vodka sauce!

Everything that I got here was delicious. We bought the stuff pepper and had a great sandwich made. I would definitely recommend this place

Wow. Hidden gem on the highway. Have driven past quite a few times and by far happy I finally decided to stop in one day I got the chicken parm hoagie. It was massive. Also don't know how I never had it before but they use vodka sauce on theirs. I will only ever get a chicken parm hoagie with vodka sauce now until the day I die. Albei, I cannot imagine it will ever be as good as this They make the bread themselves and i couldn't believe it wasn't toasted. The crunch could be heard up the road and then I realized it wasn't the second I realized how fluffy the inside was They make the mozz align with everything else there and that was the best I've ever had as well. Had to buy it to go I had my brother in law go there and grab stuffed peppers, stuffed olives, and fresh mozz for our charcuterie board on Christmas. It was the star of the show

Hot Sandwiches are amazing! Cheesesteak is delicious. Friendly staff. Can't wait to come back.

I found Sapore on Yelp when we needed a quick lunch spot. We dropped in on a Saturday just after 1. There's a small parking lot on the side. There's no seating inside but there are a few tables outside the shop. I ordered the Not So Chicken Little (chicken cutlet, homemade mozzarella, homemade roasted red peppers, balsamic vinegar, and oil) and hubby had the Dom (hot/sweet capicola, hot/sweet soppressata, ham, pepperoni, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, homemade roasted red peppers, balsamic vinegar, and oil). We both got a full size because we had no idea that it would be the size of an arm. The sandwiches were massive! So it was a great deal for the amount of food we got. We ended up eating half and were stuffed. I loved the chicken sandwich. Even though the chicken cutlet was a cold chicken cutlet, it managed to still be crispy and not oil-soaked. My only feedback would probably be the bread. It's a bit chewy so after a while, your jaw does get tired. I popped the leftovers into my panini press the next day, and it was still good - maybe even better since the bread was warm and toasted. They have a bunch of homemade pastas and raviolis (hence the name) that we couldn't take home this time. But if I am ever in the area again, I definitely want to come back and try a few boxes of those.

My wife and I just shared a Tone B and we both agree this was either The Best sandwich we have had in a long time or for that matter the best ever. Chicken, robbies, sun dried peppers, fresh muzz and balsamic. And the bread it was on was excellent. It's hard to get it all just right - often times the bread can be disappointing. Not here. Great crust and taste. We can't wait to go back.

This is like a hole in the wall Italian deli. I've ordered catering from them multiple times and they've never failed. Their subs are really good and portion sizes are extremely generous. I love their penne vodka and chicken Parmesan. They also have a frozen section of all of their house made ravioli. I particularly like their lobster ravioli in which the filling has just the perfect lobster to cheese ratio. Other items I get every time I go is their prosciutto baguette, tiramisu and pistachio cookies. You can't go wrong with anything there. All the staff are friendly and accommodating. It gets really busy during lunch time so go early or call ahead of time to place your order so you won't need to wait in line for a long time

Very small place... Stopped in the other day to pick up lunch. We ordered 2 sandwiches. For her, the Randy. That was with veal, roasted peppers, mozzarella & balsamic. I chose the Tone B. This one was with chicken cutlet, prosciutto, broccoli rabe, sun dried peppers, mozzarella & balsamic. Both were very good. Enough for leftovers the next day. These sandwiches are quite large. And only cost about $14 a clip. Service was pretty quick. Popular place for locals, even during the week. Gotta mention that they make their own marinara sauce along with the fresh mozzarella. A small refrigerated area is on the left with prepared 1/4 & 1/2 trays of pasta. For sweets, the case off on your right was a little barren. Ended up picking up a few cannoli bars by the register. White chocolate bar with ground up cannoli shells. Get them if they are available. So good. :)
